What is the cost and validity?

• The Swiss motorway vignette has a one-off cost of CHF 40.
• The 2023 sticker is valid from December 1, 2022 to January 31, 2024. 
• There is no daily, weekly or monthly vignette.
• Currently, there is no electronic sticker. The introduction of the electronic vignette is planned for the year 2023. It will be available via an online shop of the Federal Office of Customs and Border Security.
• If you drive without a vignette, you can be amended (200 francs) and you will have to pay the vignette (40 francs).
