Motorcycle courses are designed to teach you to master the motorcycle, deepen your knowledge and adapt it to road riding. But above all, with a driving school like L’auto-école Lémanique, the aim is to make you love scooter and motorcycle driving. And of course, to help you get your driver’s license as quickly as possible!

The learning process in question can be divided into several main pillars.

Learn the basics of motorcycle riding

First and foremost, the aim of your courses will be to understand the basic requirements for driving a motorcycle safely, including the driver’s responsibility, the requirements for suitable clothing and the safe operation of the motorcycle.

In doing so, you’ll learn to master starting, stopping, accelerating and decelerating maneuvers by applying the appropriate observation techniques. You’ll also learn the skills needed to handle the vehicle safely, including braking techniques.

Apply theoretical learning to practical driving.

You will then consolidate your skills in vehicle handling, including safe and effective braking. These courses will enable you to apply the correct braking techniques and respect safety distances from other vehicles.

This involves riding at a very slow pace without putting your foot down, in order to learn to really master your bike.

It’s also during this phase that you’ll be able to practice on the road, learning how to handle intersections, interact with other road users and control your trajectory and speed.

Turning, overtaking, adjusting speed, riding in a group, dealing with motorcyclists and motorists… Everything you need to become a responsible motorcyclist.

Riding a motorcycle safely

In order to ride safely on the road, you’ll also learn to pay attention to other road users, while maintaining control of your motorcycle, especially in terms of trajectory. You’ll learn how to drive with a passenger, check blind spots, adapt to traffic, use the road and simply improve your driving fluidity. This brings you to the final learning phase: the one in which you can deepen your knowledge and skills.

Controlling the motorcycle in emergency situations

In this final phase, you’ll learn how to change direction quickly, react and brake safely, even at high speeds. The aim of this learning pillar is to help you acquire the skills you need to ride motorcycles safely and independently. The overall aim of the motorcycle courses given at auto-école Lémanique is to train competent, safe and responsible motorcycle drivers, capable of controlling their vehicle in different driving situations while respecting road safety.

The scooter and motorcycle courses include both theory and practice, and take place on a training circuit.

During the theory part, you’ll learn about the important maneuvers to be performed during the driving test, such as braking, slalom, slow lane and many more.

This part is designed to familiarize you with these maneuvers and give you the knowledge you need to perform them correctly.

The practical part of the course will take place on the training circuit, where you will have the opportunity to put into practice the maneuvers learned during the theoretical part.

You will be supervised by a certified instructor who will guide you and give you advice on how to improve your driving skills.

To get your motorcycle licence in Geneva as quickly as possible, make sure you take courses with passionate, competent and attentive instructors! At L’auto-école Lémanique, we always adapt to your learning pace.

Franchement, merci beaucoup!
