Course 2 PHASES

2-phase course: Getting your full driving licence
In Switzerland, the procedure for obtaining a driver’s license is divided into 2 distinct phases.
The first phase includes theory courses(first aid and awareness) with a test to obtain the learner’s permit, then practical courses with a corresponding test to obtain the trial driving permit (valid for 3 years).
Once you have obtained your licence, the 2-phase course must be taken within the first 12 months after the date of issue.
This course is essential for gaining experience and improving road safety for new drivers. The course is run by the Touring Club Suisse (TCS), official partner of AEL. Thanks to this partnership, AEL students benefit from a 30 chf offer for 2-phase training.
Compulsory further training with TCS
Once you’ve obtained a trial driving licence in Switzerland, you’ll need to take an additional one-day training course.
This training must be undertaken within twelve months of obtaining a trial license, and focuses on several crucial aspects, including braking control, economical and environmentally-friendly driving techniques, and the simulation of various realistic driving situations.
Provided by the Touring Club Suisse (TCS), a Swiss organization dedicated to mobility, this training aims to promote road safety and improve drivers’ driving skills.
